Loon Lake Fire Department (LLFD) supports the educational development of members of our community through a scholarship program that recognizes community involvement combined with academic achievement and aspirations to further their education at some form of post-secondary education.
Two LLFD Community Minded Scholarships for $500 each are awarded annually to residents of the Village and RM of Loon Lake completing Grade 12.
Eligibility
- Upstanding Resident of the RM or Village of Loon Lake.
- Grade 12 Student
- Accepted into a post-secondary program.
Application
- Completed application form
- One letter of reference detailing community involvement
- One letter of reference verifying school participation
- A photocopy of your official transcripts of applicant’s Grade 12 marks.
- Proof of acceptance into a post-secondary institution or enrollment into pre-employment apprenticeship program.
Deadline for Submission
- April 30, 2026 dropped off or e-mailed to the RM/Village of Loon Lake Office.
- Scholarship recipients will be contacted by the Loon Lake Fire Department.
