Before heading out on the water, take a few minutes to make sure you and your passengers are prepared for a safe day on the lake.
✔️ Ensure there are enough properly fitting Canadian-approved lifejackets or PFDs for everyone on board.
✔️ Carry the required safety equipment.
✔️ Check the weather and water conditions before you leave.
✔️ Never operate a boat while impaired.
✔️ Let someone know where you’re going and when you plan to return.
